We interview each client to gather the necessary financial data and clearly understand their goals. We perform a risk analysis to determine the correct asset allocation for each portfolio. After careful review of the pertinent data the investment plan is developed. The client is educated about the new plan and then it is implemented. The portfolio is reviewed with the client each quarter and rebalanced as necessary.
Traditional allocation strategies focus upon the return, risk and correlation between asset classes. Tactical Asset Allocation expands the process by including analysis related to yield, an important investment utility to many clients. Our multidimensional approach allows us to focus on yield for income accounts, return for growth accounts and risk exposure for conservative accounts.
Our Asset Allocation plans combine quantitative research with the qualitative experience and judgement from our team at Logan Financial Planning, LLC. We discuss stock and fixed-income market conditions, valuation multiples, interest rates, the shape of the yield curve, money flows, economic conditions, Federal Reserve policy, fiscal policy, currency strength, foreign interest rates, commodities prices and many other factors. Data on these factors is analyzed, applying advanced statistical models and modern portfolio theory. All recommendations are carefully assessed in light of the clients’ individual objectives and risk tolerance.

Methods of Analysis
LFP’s methods of analysis include charting analysis, fundamental analysis, technical
analysis and cyclical analysis.
Charting analysis involves the use of patterns in performance charts. LFP uses this
technique to search for patterns used to help predict favorable conditions for buying
and/or selling a security.
Fundamental analysis involves the analysis of financial statements, the general financial
health of companies, and/or the analysis of management or competitive advantages.
Technical analysis involves the analysis of past market data; primarily price and volume.
Cyclical analysis involved the analysis of business cycles to find favorable conditions for
buying and/or selling a security.
Investment Strategies
LFP uses long term trading, short term trading, short sales, margin transactions, and
options writing (including covered options, uncovered options, or spreading strategies).
Investing in securities involves a risk of loss that you, as a client, should be prepared
to bear.

Aileen is a President and Chief Investment Officer, Certified Financial Planner. She started her career in the Securities Industry in 1978 at Merrill Lynch in Huntsville, Alabama. She left Merrill Lynch as a Chairman’s Club Member to join Dean Witter Morgan Stanley in 1986, also in Huntsville, Alabama. In December of 2000, Aileen joined Prudential Financial in Destin, Florida. Aileen went through the transitions as a result of mergers between Prudential Securities and Wachovia Securities and then Wells Fargo Advisors, LLC. She left Wells Fargo Advisors, LLC in August of 2013 to be true to her passion to remain an investment advisor and not become a bank salesmen. Aileen has maintained a client base in Huntsville, Alabama and Destin, Florida along with many other clients across the country.

The new focus of these bank owned institutions toward more packaged products and less tailor-made financial planning has diminished the ability of the advisor to uphold what we consider the highest level of the fiduciary standard. It has become clear there is a void in the market for Investment Advisors specializing in portfolio development and management with individual’s needs in mind. Logan Financial Planning, LLC has professionals with skills not common to the average Financial Advisor. All licensed employees have been in the industry for over 30 years. The investments are managed by a Certified Financial Planning Certificant.
